Prayers for the People of Ukraine

We pray for peace

The Collect
 Almighty God, who through your only begotten Son Jesus Christ have overcome death and

opened to us the gate of everlasting life: grant that, as by your grace going before us you put

into our minds good desires, so by your continual help we may bring them to good effect;

through Jesus Christ our risen Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen

Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If God raised his Son from death to life, bringing victory out of
disaster, he can also renew human lives. Feelings of failure, rejection or resentment are changed into opportunities for
healing, forgiveness and service. As today’s Collect prays, God puts ‘into our minds good desires’ and helps us to ‘bring
them to good effect’.

FEELING CREATIVE ????

We are looking for a Benefice logo.  Something that can be used to identify who we are on our website and social media, and also for letterheads etc.

Below is an example, but if you need further inspiration, just search different churches on the Internet to see what others have come up with.

Please let Mark have your ideas, whether it be using design software or a sketch on the back of an envelope.

Prayers for the Benefice

Each week we join our Baptist friends in praying for a local road or street.
